Piquillo Peppers Flat Tin
Our Lodosa Piquillo pepper has Protected Designation of Origin, a guarantee of authenticity, origin and quality. It is grown exclusively in the area around the Navarran town of Lodosa, where the climate, the soil and traditional expertise combine to produce one of the most highly prized peppers in Spanish cuisine.
The Piquillo peppers from Lodosa (D.O.). They are harvested by hand at their peak of ripeness, roasted directly over a flame, peeled one by one without water so as not to lose any flavour, and carefully preserved to retain their fleshy texture, their deep red colour and their characteristic sweet flavour with a slight smoky note.
